THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN SOCIAL, CULTURAL AND COLLECTIVE HISTORIES OF EVERYDAY LIFE IN BRITAIN, IN PARTICULAR BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM/GALLERY AND BY RESEARCHING AND SHARING THE STORIES OF PERSONS WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE LIFE OF THE NATION AND ITS CULTURE AND HISTORY BUT HAVE TRADITIONALLY BEEN MARGINALISED AS A RESULT OF RACISM, SEXISM, CLASSISM, ABLEISM AND OTHER FORMS OF OPPRESSION, PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS OF DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS AND COMMUNITIES TO PARTAKE IN THE CREATION OF THEIR OWN HISTORIES.
