FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF CATS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN RESCUE FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS AND TO AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO CAT WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG CATS. B. THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG CAT OWNERS LIVING OR WORKING IN BRISTOL, BATH AND SOMERSET WHO ARE IN FINANCIAL HARDSHIP BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH GOODS/SERVICES NECESSITATED BY CAT OWNERSHIP WHICH THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS. C. THE RELIEF OF NEED OF CAT OWNERS LIVING OR WORKING IN BRISTOL, BATH AND SOMERSET WHO ARE UNABLE TO CARE FOR THEIR CAT DUE TO THEIR HOMELESSNESS OR THREAT OF HOMELESSNESS OR REHOUSING DUE TO ILL HEALTH, DISABILITY OF OLD AGE IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO FIND CARE FOR THEIR CATS.
