Activities - how the charity spends its money
Our aim is to provide advancement of animal welfare, for the public benefit to relieve the suffering of Westies and Scotties in need of care and attention and in particular, to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals, and where suitable, to re-home such animals, we also work with owners who may be struggling for a various reasons

THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS DOGS IN THE UK, AND IN PARTICULAR THE BREEDS KNOWN AS WEST HIGHLAND TERRIERS AND SCOTTISH TERRIERS, BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR DOGS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE, REHOMING SUCH DOGS WHERE POSSIBLE AND PROVIDING EDUCATION TO OWNERS OF SUCH DOGS RELATING TO RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP.
