We aim to provide diverse facilities for communities in Greater Manchester. The services will include; to establish Maktab system of education for Muslim children and adults, to establish a community centre(s) to provide facilities for social welfare including recreational activities for local communities in particular engaging young children, to establish place of worship & social events etc.

OBJECT[S] THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO ARE: THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN GREATER MANCHESTER AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA BY:- A. ESTABLISHING A MAKTAB SYSTEM OF EDUCATION FOR MUSLIM CHILDREN AND ADULTS; B. ESTABLISHING COMMUNITY CENTRES TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR SOCIAL WELFARE INCLUDING RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES, IN PARTICULAR ENGAGING YOUNG CHILDREN TO TAKE THEM OFF THE STREET AND MAKING THEM LAW ABIDING CITIZEN; C. ESTABLISHING A PLACE OF WORSHIP; D. PROVIDING AFTER SCHOOL QURANIC CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULT QURANIC (ARABIC) CLASSES; E. PROVIDING CHAPLAINCY SERVICES TO HOSPITALS & PRISONS; F. CARRYING OUT MARRIAGES AND FUNERALS; AND G. ARRANGING EVENTS TO CREATE HARMONY AND BETTER UNDERSTANDING AMONG COMMUNITIES INCLUDING FACILITIES FOR FULFILMENT OF CULTURAL NEEDS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
