THE FRIENDS IS ESTABLISHED TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN THE CIVIL PARISH OF HURSTBOURNE TARRANT BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ST PETERS CHURCH HURSTBOURNE TARRANT (THE CHURCH) AND TO FUND OR ASSIST IN FUNDING THE PRESERVATION, REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE CHURCH AND OF THE MONUMENTS, FITTINGS, FIXTURES, STAINED GLASS, FURNITURE, ORNAMENTS IN THE CHURCH OR CHURCHYARD BELONGING TO THAT CHURCH.
