We are a specialist innovative Therapeutic Agency registered by Ofsted, and rated Outstanding at every inspection. We employ a multi disciplinary clinical therapy team and support children and families impacted by abuse, trauma and child to parent violence. We provide children and their families with specialist trauma and attachment therapy, counselling and specialist therapeutic training.

Charitable expenditure
Some charities generate all, or a substantial part, of their income from investments which may have been donated to the charity as endowment or set aside by the charity from its own resources in the past. Such investments usually take the form of stocks and shares but may include other assets, such as property, that are capable of generating income and/or capital growth.
In managing their spending and investments charities need to strike a balance between the needs of future and current beneficiaries. They also need to take account of spending commitments that may stretch over a number of future years. To do this, charities will normally adopt an investment strategy designed to generate both income and capital growth. To maximise returns trustees may commit to investment strategies for several years.
Investments can experience large swings in value so trustees may, in a particular year, decide to realise and spend part of their charity’s capital or to invest part of its income.

Charitable objects
2.1 THE CHARITY?S OBJECTS ARE RESTRICTED SPECIFICALLY ONLY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 2.1.1 TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED TRAUMA (SUCH AS ABUSE OR NEGLECT), AS WELL AS THEIR ADOPTIVE AND BIRTH FAMILIES, SOCIAL WORKERS AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT THEM, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADOPTION SERVICES, THERAPEUTIC SERVICES AND SUPPORT SERVICES; 2.1.2 TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WHO HAVE COME INTO CONTACT WITH CHILDREN?S SOCIAL CARE SERVICES OR ADOPTION SERVICES OR BOTH, OR WHO ARE AT RISK OF COMING INTO CONTACT WITH CHILDREN?S SOCIAL CARE SERVICES OR ADOPTION SERVICES OR BOTH, AND WHO NEED SUPPORT AS A RESULT; 2.1.3 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE HEALTH, WELFARE, DEVELOPMENT AND CARE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 2.1.3.1 PROVIDING TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR PROFESSIONALS IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE OR ADOPTION SERVICES, AND OTHER RELEVANT SECTORS; AND 2.1.3.2 PROMOTING AND UNDERTAKING RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ALL ASPECTS OF THAT SUBJECT, PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS AND ORGANISING RELATED EVENTS.
