Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS: THE RELIEF OF POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST EMPLOYEES AND FORMER EMPLOYEES OF LIAISON GROUP ENTITIES AND ANY SUBSIDIARY COMPANY (WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 1159 OF THE COMPANIES ACT 2006) ('EMPLOYEES') AND WHETHER SINGLY OR COLLECTIVELY ANY WIFE, HUSBAND, WIDOW, WIDOWER, CHILD OR ANY OTHER PERSON WHO IS OR HAS AT ANY TIME BEEN EITHER WHOLLY OR IN PART DEPENDANT UPON ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES INCLUDING BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION BY: - MAKING GRANTS TO ASSIST IN MEETING OUTGOINGS SUCH AS FOR RENT OR FOR THE SUPPLY OF GAS, WATER AND ELECTRICITY; AND - PAYING FEES FOR ADVICE OR SERVICES. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
