THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: A. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN NIGERIA, THE UK, AFRICA AND BEYOND IN PARTICULAR IN THE SUBJECTS OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE INCLUDING BY MEANS OF: • PROVIDING ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO SECONDARY (JUNIOR AND HIGH) AND TERTIARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN NEED. • PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN IN THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL TRAINING OR EDUCATION B. THE PROMOTION, PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH BY SUPPORTING HEALTHCARE IN NIGERIA, THE UK, AFRICA AND BEYOND INCLUDING BY MEANS OF: • ORGANISING OR ASSISTING IN THE ORGANISATION OF SYMPOSIA DESIGNED TO EDUCATE GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS ABOUT VARIOUS CHRONIC ILLNESSES, PARTICULARLY (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCERS. • PROMOTING HEALTH CHECKS, AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS, AND PUBLIC OUTREACH, • PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF HEALTH SCREENING, DIAGNOSTIC, AND THERAPEUTIC PROJECTS. C. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER SOCIAL DISADVANTAGE IN NIGERIA, THE UK, AFRICA AND BEYOND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC WELFARE EMPOWERMENT PROJECTS, INCLUDING THOSE FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF SUSTAINABLE METHODS OF ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE FOR THOSE IN NEED, AS WELL AS PROJECTS TARGETED AGAINST VIOLENCE (INCLUDING SEXUAL AND GENDER BASED VIOLENCE).
