3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 3.1.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH AND THE SAVING OF LIVES; 3.1.2 THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY; AND 3.1.3 TO ADVANCE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND GIVING OF SUPPORT TO SUCH CHARITIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT , PROVIDED THAT SUCH SUPPORT IS NOT OF A KIND THAT WOULD ORDINARILY BE PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES .
