THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO: A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF DHARMA FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BY (1) THE CELEBRATION OF HINDU FESTIVALS; (2) THE STUDY AND RESEARCH OF HINDU RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY AND TO PUBLISH AND OR HOLD DISCOURSE ON THE RESULTS OF ANY SUCH STUDIES AND RESEARCH; (3) THE PROVISION OF YOGA AND OTHER HINDU PRACTICES TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELLBEING’ AND (4) RAISING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRIME VALUES OF THE HINDU WAY OF LIFE. B) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS, PRIMARILY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE UK BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE NEED.
