Activities - how the charity spends its money
Grow Lewisham provides access to growing spaces and opportunities to learn about nature, horticulture, the environment and healthy living. Anyone can get involved by emailing or visiting one of the sites for workshops or on open days. Volunteers also work towards conservation, protection and improvement of the local environment as well as enhanced biodiversity.

Charitable objects
1. TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION BY PROVIDING SPACES FOR USE AS COMMUNITY GARDENS / GROWING SPACES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN THE BOROUGH OF LEWISHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING ABOUT NATURE, HORTICULTURE, THE ENVIRONMENT, AND CONNECTIONS TO HEALTHY LIVING AND EATING, THROUGH COMMUNITY GARDENS AND GROWING SPACES. 3. TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE COMMUNITY GARDENS / GROWING SPACES AND SURROUNDING NATURAL AREAS BY ENHANCING BIODIVERSITY.
