ECGM supports people to navigate complex UK administrative systems, dealing with welfare rights, personal finance (debt, credit, banking), housing (private and social landlords) and issues with utilities (gas, water, electricity). ECGM runs a mental health service, offering a peer support group and 1:1 sessions delivered by our trained counsellor.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: (1) THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG MEMBERS OF THE ERITREAN COMMUNITY LIVING IN GREATER MANCHESTER WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN BY PREVENTING THEM FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THEIR NEEDS AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. (2) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR WOMEN, PARTICULARLY AMONG MEMBERS OF THE ERITREAN COMMUNITY OR FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. (3) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF MEMBERS OF THE ERITREANS COMMUNITY LIVING IN GREATER MANCHESTER, BY THE PROVISION OF VOCATIONAL AND SKILLS TRAINING, ADVICE AND SUPPORT ON EDUCATION AT ALL LEVELS.
