Charitable objects
TO RELIEVE POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, INCLUDING PERIOD POVERTY, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND OTHERWISE DISPLACED PEOPLE AND THEIR DEPENDENTS IN THE WEST MIDLANDS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING: • CLOTHING, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO MEET A BASIC STANDARD OF LIVING; • MENSTRUAL AND FEMININE HYGIENE SUPPLIES AND ESSENTIAL EDUCATION ON MENSTRUATION, PERIOD PROTECTION AND PERIOD HEALTH. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE, PERIOD POVERTY REFERS TO THE INABILITY TO AFFORD OR HAVE ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL MENSTRUAL PRODUCTS. THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG PEOPLE WHO ARE REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND OTHERWISE DISPLACED PEOPLE AND THEIR DEPENDENTS IN THE WEST MIDLANDS, WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING: • PROVIDING LOCAL NETWORKING GROUP(S) THAT ENCOURAGE AND ENABLE REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND OTHERWISE DISPLACED PEOPLE AND THEIR DEPENDENTS TO PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY; • SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND EVENTS INVOLVING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.
