THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, GUIDANCE, FACILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN CANOEING, KAYAKING AND OTHER RELATED PADDLE SPORTS FOR WHICH BRITISH CANOEING IS THE NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
