THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:
THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SUCH PARTS OF THE UK AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE BY THE PROVISION OF FREE LEGAL ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS WHO THROUGH LACK OF MEANS WOULD OTHERWISE BE UNABLE TO ACCESS SUCH SERVICES.
