Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND, IN ACCORDANCE WITH AND IN EXPRESSION OF THE PRINCIPLES OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH FAITH ARE 1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND PROVIDE FOR THE RECREATION OF CHILDREN OF SCHOOL AGE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE FROM THE JEWISH COMMUNITY BY MAKING FACILITIES AND SERVICES, AVAILABLE TO THEM DURING OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS 2. TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE FROM THE JEWISH COMMUNITY LIVING IN GATESHEAD (BENSHAM) (AND OTHER JEWISH COMMUNITIES IN THE UK WHEN REQUIRED), BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF: (A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION; (C) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT; (D) PROVIDING RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE A NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, PHYSICAL AND/OR EMOTIONAL HEALTH, INFIRMITY, OR DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS (E) WRITING, DESIGNING, PRINTING, PUBLISHING CULTURAL LITERATURE AND LEARNED WORK OF ALL KIND IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTS SET ABOVE
