Charitable objects

1. TO SUPPORT AND INFORMALLY EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE WHITLEY BAY AREA OF NORTH TYNESIDE THROUGH THEIR LEISURE-TIME ACTIVITIES SO TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED. 2. TO FOSTER POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. 3. TO PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SPACE AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP PERSONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS THROUGH RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. 4. TO RESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE TO EMPOWER AND ENGAGE YOUNG PEOPLE IN POSITIVE ACTIVITIES THAT FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE PRINCIPLES OUTLINED IN THE 'EVERY CHILD/YOUTH MATTERS' GOVERNMENT AGENDA 5. TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO INFORMATION, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE 6. TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE AT RISK
