THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:
(A) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SOUTHAMPTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF SWIMMING TEACHING, TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT, COMPETITIVE SWIMMING AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES.
