Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (A) TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH ACCESS TO FOOD AND OTHER HEALTH AND WELLBEING SERVICES; AND (B) TO ADVANCE THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT THROUGH PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY REDISTRIBUTING SURPLUS FOOD THAT WOULD OTHERWISE GO TO LANDFILL.
