Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS DOGS (IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY GREYHOUNDS, WHIPPETS, LURCHERS AND ANY OTHER SIGHTHOUND BREED) BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION AND TREATMENT FOR SUCH ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE, WHERE PRACTICAL AND APPROPRIATE RE-HOMING SUCH DOGS, AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND IN PARTICULAR THE SIGHTHOUND BREED OF DOGS, AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.
