Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (A) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF BRADLEY AND THE IMMEDIATE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES; AND OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS; AND (B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO: (I) STUDENTS WHO LIVE WITHIN THE PARISH OF BRADLEY STUDYING FOR THEIR FIRST DEGREE (EXCLUDING THOSE ON SANDWICH COURSES, OR IN RECEIPT OF PAYMENT DURING THE COURSE, SUCH AS A BURSARY); AND (II) PRIMARY SCHOOLS WHICH ARE ATTENDED BY CHILDREN FROM THE PARISH OF BRADLEY. (C) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF ST MARY AND ALL SAINTS, THE PARISH CHURCH OF BRADLEY; (D) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF BRADLEY WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS. (E) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER PURPOSES WHICH MAY BE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT.
