We are a membership charity preserving the heritage and telling the stories of the Glyn Valley Tramway and the industries it once served in the Ceiriog Valley. Our museum is located in Glyn Ceiriog, northeast Wales, established in the tramway's former engine shed and on the adjacent station yard and nearby coal wharf.

Charitable objects
THE TRUST IS ESTABLISHED UPON THE CENTRAL PRINCIPLES OF FACTUAL ACCURACY, HISTORICAL AUTHENTICITY, EDUCATIONAL VALIDITY AND PRESENTATIONAL QUALITY WITH THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS A) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND TO PROMOTE A WIDER UNDERSTANDING AND AWARENESS OF, THE FORMER GLYN VALLEY TRAMWAY (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE TRAMWAY") AND THE INDUSTRIES WHICH IT SERVED IN THE CEIRIOG VALLEY (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE AREA OF BENEFIT") B) TO SEEK OUT, RECORD AND CATALOGUE EQUIPMENT, ARTEFACTS, DOCUMENTS, PHOTOGRAPHS AND OTHER MEMORABILIA OF THE TRAMWAY AND THE ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND, WHERE POSSIBLE, TO ACQUIRE, MAINTAIN, RESTORE AND CONSERVE THE SAME AND TO PLACE SUCH MATERIAL ON PUBLIC DISPLAY AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, TO ACQUIRE AND RESTORE FORMER TRAMWAY, INDUSTRIAL AND HISTORIC PROPERTY AND INFRASTRUCTURE C) TO ENCOURAGE ON THE PART OF THE CEIRIOG VALLEY COMMUNITY, AND PARTICULARLY AMONG ITS YOUNGER MEMBERS, GREATER RECOGNITION OF, AND PRIDE IN, THE SOCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT
