Charitable objects
3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ("THE OBJECTS") ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE WHICH WILL HAVE THE EFFECT OF ADVANCING HEALTH OR THE SAVING OF LIVES, ADVANCING EDUCATION, ADVANCING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, ADVANCING HUMAN RIGHTS OR ADVANCING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OR IMPROVEMENT. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH PROMOTING, AMONGST PEOPLE TO WHOM SUCH KNOWLEDGE IS DISSEMINATED, AWARENESS OF PRACTICES, AND THE ADOPTION OF APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOURAL CHANGES, WHICH WILL ENABLE THEM TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM DISEASE, TO SEEK MEDICAL TREATMENT AT THE RIGHT TIME, TO PLAN AND RAISE HEALTHY FAMILIES, TO RESPECT THE NEED FOR FAIR AND EQUAL TREATMENT BETWEEN THE SEXES, TO ENHANCE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY, AND OTHERWISE TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. 3.2 IN THIS ARTICLE "ADVANCING HEALTH" INCLUDES THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF SICKNESS, DISEASE OR HUMAN SUFFERING. 3.3. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTS THE CHARITY MAY - 3.3.1. CONDUCT, IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, MEDIA CAMPAIGNS, MEDIA PROJECTS AND/OR MEDIA TRAINING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISSEMINATING SUITABLE ADVICE AND GUIDANCE TO PEOPLE WHO MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE HAVE ACCESS TO IT, USING RADIO AND TELEVISION OR OTHER MEDIA. 3.3.2. CONDUCT RESEARCH TO ESTABLISH THE CONTENT AND METHOD OF DELIVERY OF SUCH ADVICE AND GUIDANCE WHICH HAS THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR MAXIMUM IMPACT AND COST EFFECTIVENESS. 3.3.3 TAKE STEPS TO EVALUATE THE IMPACT OF SUCH ADVICE AND GUIDANCE ON THE FURTHERANCE OF THE RELEVANT OBJECT AMONG THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE RECEIVED IT. 3.4 NOTHING IN THESE ARTICLES AUTHORISES ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE. "CHARITABLE" MEANS CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES PROVIDED THAT IT WILL NOT INCLUDE ANY PURPOSE WHICH IS NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND / OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008."
