A. TO PROMOTE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF SACRISTON AND THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBOURHOOD (HEREAFTER CALLED THE ‘AREA OF BENEFIT’) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS, AND THE INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. B. TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF FACILITIES AND OPPERTUNITIES IN SACRISTON FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISE AND TRAINING, MEETINGS, LECTURES, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES AND SUCH OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, BOTH RESIDING AND VISITING, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS.
