Charitable objects
1. TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND AFRICAN MIGRANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES LIVING (TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY) IN THE UNITED KINGDOM IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE. 2. TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND AFRICAN MIGRANTS LIVING IN THE UK FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY THROUGH. A) ADVICE, INFORMATION AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT; B) SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND EVENTS INVOLVING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR INTEGRATION; C) IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PART OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF BEING A MEMBER OF A SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY.
