THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE RESTRICTED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE FIELDS OF 20TH CENTURY AND CONTEMPORARY ART AND DESIGN BY WOMEN ARTISTS AND BY GENDER NON-CONFORMING ARTISTS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 3.1.1 PROVIDING EXHIBITIONS, TALKS, SEMINARS AND OTHER EVENTS AND INFORMATION; 3.1.2 CARRYING OUT RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATING THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH; 3.1.3 LOANING WORKS TO PUBLIC ART COLLECTIONS IN THE UK AND ABROAD; AND 3.1.4 AWARDING GRANTS TO CONTEMPORARY WOMEN AND GENDER NON-CONFORMING ARTISTS.
