Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Shepshed Lions Community First Responders primary role is to support the ambulance service with providing emergency medical care until care is transferred to an ambulance crew. Additionally the scheme also attends local businesses, community groups and schools to provide CPR and defibrillator training aswell as monitoring 40 defibrillators in the local community ensuring they are operational.

THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘THE OBJECTS’) ARE THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS, THE PRESERVATION OF LIFE AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH WITHIN LOUGHBOROUGH AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, BY: 1) THE PROVISION OF TRAINED CFRS TO ATTEND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AS DIRECTED BY EMAS 2) THE MANAGEMENT OF CHARITY OWNED AND NOMINATED PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE DEFIBRILLATORS, 3) PROVISION OF FIRST AID TRAINING FOR EVENTS, AS SUPPORTED BY EMAS 4) DEMONSTRATION OF EFFECTIVE CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) TO LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS TO IMPROVE BYSTANDER CPR RATES AND PUBLIC CONFIDENCE TO INTERVENE IN AN EMERGENCY
