THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM RESPIRATORY DISEASES, AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, IN DARLINGTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS, IN PARTICULAR PROVIDING SUPPORT GROUPS WHICH PROVIDE INFORMATION, ADVICE AND ORGANISED ACTIVITIES WHICH PROMOTE A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE.
