THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: A) TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF UNWANTED, ABANDONED AND NEGLECTED ANIMALS THAT NEED CARE, PROTECTION AND TREATMENT BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE, BY THE PROVISION OF A RESCUE, RE-HOMING AND THE ACCOMMODATION OF SUCH ANIMALS. B) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN MATTERS CONCERNING ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.
