THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE SIKH RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE IN WOLVERHAMPTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS TENETS AND DOCTRINES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A TEMPLE (GURDWARA) FOR THE SIKH COMMUNITY AS A PLACE OF RELIGIOUS WORSHIP IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS AND CUSTOMS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE SIKH RELIGION.
