Charitable objects
THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH IN RELATION TO THE PREVENTION AND EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF CANCER BY: A) IMPROVING RELEVANT PUBLIC EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND AWARENESS; B) DEVELOPING RELEVANT PUBLIC POLICY AND MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS TO PUBLIC BODIES; C) CAMPAIGNING FOR THE ENACTMENT OF IMPROVED PUBLIC HEALTH POLICY; D) PROMOTING SCREENING AND OTHER MEDICAL TECHNIQUES; AND E) SUPPORTING RELEVANT MEDICAL RESEARCH AND SUPPORTING THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH. IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT OBJECT BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER TO ENGAGE IN POLITICAL ACTIVITY PROVIDED THAT THE TRUSTEES ARE SATISFIED THAT THE PROPOSED ACTIVITIES WILL FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY TO AN EXTENT JUSTIFIED BY THE RESOURCES COMMITTED AND THE ACTIVITY IS NOT THE DOMINANT MEANS BY WHICH THE CHARITY CARRIES OUT ITS OBJECTS.
