Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH BY: A) THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION TO HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS OF ANY DENOMINATION, DESIGNED TO FURTHER THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN THE CARE OF ADULT PATIENTS IN SECONDARY CARE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM REQUIRING MANAGEMENT OF INTRAVENOUS FLUIDS, AND TO IMPROVE CLINICAL PRACTICE IN THEIR USE; B) THE PROVISION OF COLLATED, PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE, INFORMATION ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT OF INTRAVENOUS FLUIDS THAT SUPPORTS THE AIM SET OUT IN 3 A). THIS WOULD BE IN THE FORM OF THE CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A DEDICATED WEBSITE; C) THE PROVISION OF A PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE (UPON REQUEST) DATABASE OF EXPERTS WHOSE INDIVIDUAL AIMS UPHOLD THE AIMS OF THIS CHARITY THAT CAN BE ACCESSED BY OTHER PEOPLE WISHING TO UNDERTAKE SIMILAR WORK THAT IS ALIGNED WITH THE CHARITY’S AIMS; D) THE PROVISION AND DEVELOPMENT OF MATERIALS FOR EDUCATION, EITHER IN ELECTRONIC OR HARD COPY VERSION, IN SUPPORT OF THE AIM SET OUT IN 3 A); E) THE PROVISION OF TOOLS FOR UNDERTAKING CHANGE IMPROVEMENT SUCH AS CREATION OF GUIDELINES, AUDIT TOOLS AND IMPROVEMENT IN DOCUMENTATION IN SECONDARY CARE. F) FORMING NETWORKS AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS, AIMING TO CREATE A NATIONAL FLUID LEAD GROUP AND INTERACT WITH RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL BODIES AND SOCIETIES; G) IMPROVING AWARENESS OF ISSUES RELATED TO INTRAVENOUS FLUID USE IN HEALTHCARE VIA PUBLICITY AND SOCIAL MEDIA; H) TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR SPECIFIC PROJECTS AND RESEARCH, AGREED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, TO PEOPLE WORKING TO UPHOLD THE AIMS OF THE CHARITY AS REMUNERATION OF COSTS INCURRED BY THEM PROVIDED THAT THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE DISSEMINATED TO THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.
