TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION IN CIVETS AND RELATED SPECIES WITHIN THE VIVERRIDAE FAMILY, BY: PROVIDING OUTREACH PROGRAMMES ON CONSERVATION AND WELFARE OF THE SPECIES RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT ZOONOTIC RISKS OF HUMAN-CIVET RELATIONSHIPS TRADING AS WELL AS THE THREAT THAT TRADING PRESENTS TO THE SPECIES. PROMOTING RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ALL ASPECTS OF THAT SUBJECT AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS.
