THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:
THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF BIRTLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AT BIRTLEY COMMUNITY AQUATIC CENTRE, FOR SWIMMING AND OTHER AQUATIC ACTIVITIES CAPABLE OF PROMOTING PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AND FITNESS.
