THE ADVANCEMENT OF AMATEUR SPORT IN BISHOPS STORTFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDING AND SUPPORT TO HERTS & ESSEX SPORTS CENTRE AND ITS STAKEHOLDERS SO THAT SUCH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE CAN ACCESS SPORTS FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND COACHING IN OUTDOOR AND INDOOR SPORTS WHICH PROMOTE HEALTH BY INVOLVING PHYSICAL OR MENTAL SKILL OR EXERTION.
