THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE DRAMATIC AND MUSICAL ARTS BY: (A) THE PROMOTION AND FACILITATION OF THE PUBLIC PRESENTATION OF ARTISTIC PERFORMANCES; (B) PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRODUCTION OF AMATEUR PERFORMANCES, INCLUDING SCRIPT WRITING, ACTING, CHOREOGRAPHY, PRODUCTION, THEATRE PRODUCTION, SET DESIGN, COSTUME, MAKE UP AND ‘BACK STAGE’ ELEMENTS OF STAGECRAFT. 2) TO FURTHER SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT FROM TIME TO TIME, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS.
