Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF THE ELMINGTON ESTATE IN CAMBERWELL SOUTH LONDON WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY PROVIDING ALLOTMENT FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATIONAL LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS. (2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN AND AROUND ELMINGTON ESTATE IN CAMBERWELL SOUTH LONDON BY PLANTING AND CARING FOR TREES AND OTHER PLANTS, AND MAINTAINING THE ENVIRONMENTS IN WHICH THEY GROW, TO CREATE GREENER HABITATS WHICH HELP TO MITIGATE THE HARMFUL EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN AN URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND CREATE HABITATS FOR DIVERSE SPECIES TO THRIVE.
