THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE AGED BETWEEN 17 - 21, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY LIVING IN BRENT AND OTHER LONDON BOROUGHS, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDING OVERSEAS VOLUNTEERING AS PART OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES IN AFRICA, ASIA, CARIBBEAN AND WORLDWIDE, WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
