THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF WRITING BY BRITISH AFRO-CARIBBEAN AUTHORS AND WRITERS FROM OTHER MINORITISED COMMUNITIES, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PRESENTING A REGULAR SERIES OF RECORDED INTERVIEWS IN THE FORM OF A PODCAST, AN ACCOMPANYING WEBSITE, AND BY ARRANGING AN ANNUAL PUBLIC EVENT.
