TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF THE JAPANESE SHIBA INU AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY OR SUFFERING AMONG THOSE ANIMALS AND TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS THESE ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF SICKNESS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY: • CARRYING OUT AND FUNDING SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INTO THE DISEASES AND HEREDITARY DISORDERS AFFECTING THE JAPANESE SHIBA INU BREED AND PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS. • PROVIDING INFORMATION, ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO OWNERS AND POTENTIAL OWNERS OF THE BREED. • CREATING AND DISTRIBUTING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS ON THE RESPONSIBLE CARE AND TREATMENT OF THE JAPANESE SHIBA INU.
