THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN GREATER MANCHESTER AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOGMA, CANON AND TEACHING OF THE ERITREAN ORTHODOX CHURCH AND THE STATEMENT OF FAITH SET OUT IN THE SCHEDULE TO THIS CONSTITUTION, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES AND PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS.
