Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN LOW INCOME COUNTRIES, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT LIMITED TO PAKISTAN, INDIA, NEPAL, KENYA, BANGLADESH, SRI LANKA AND MALDIVES, BY: (A) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE IN SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES; (B) THE PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE MEANS OF ACHIEVING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND REGENERATION. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS TO CONDUCT DATA-DRIVEN RESEARCH ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING PROMOTING RELEVANT EDUCATION. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT MEANS “DEVELOPMENT WHICH MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE ABILITY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS.
