THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO, ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF PERSONS OF NOT LESS THAN 60 YEARS OF AGE, WHO, OTHER THAN IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES, ARE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, BY THE PROVISION OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION AND SUCH OTHER RELIEF FOR RESIDENTS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
