TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD BY PROVIDING FUNDING, GRANTS AND/OR ITEMS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY AND/OR THOSE WHICH ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, HEALTHCARE PROJECTS AND SUPPORT NECESSARY TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. 2. TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD BY PROVIDING FUNDING, GRANTS AND/OR ITEMS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHOSE AIMS INCLUDE ADVANCING EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS BY DEVELOPING THEIR KNOWLEDGE, MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL CAPABILITIES THROUGH EDUCATION, TRAINING AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES. 3. TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ILLNESS OF ANY DESCRIPTION, OR WHO ARE IN NEED OF REHABILITATION AS A RESULT OF SUCH ILLNESS, IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD BY PROVIDING FUNDING, GRANTS AND/OR ITEMS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHOSE AIM AND WORK ALIGNS WITH THIS PURPOSE. 4. THE ADVANCEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD BY PROVIDING FUNDING, GRANTS AND/OR ITEMS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHICH PROMOTE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND/OR THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN SUCH WORK. 5. TO ASSIST IN THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING AMONG VICTIMS OF NATURAL OR OTHER KINDS OF DISASTER IN THE FORM OF PROVIDING FUNDING, GRANTS AND/OR ITEMS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS (OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE), IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AFFECTED, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL AID.
