Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS ARE: TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THROUGHOUT ENGLAND AND WALES OF THE IMPACT OF DIGEORGE SYNDROME, AND RELATED ILLNESSES AND ISSUES THAT ARISE WITH THIS CONDITION BY: 1/ SUPPORTING SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY GROUPS, FAMILIES AND OTHER APPLICABLE GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS WHEREBY EDUCATING HOW TO SUPPORT CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DIGEORGE SYNDROME. THIS TO ALSO INCLUDE SOCIAL PRESCRIBING, LINKS WITH THE NHS, ETC. 2/ PROVIDING ENRICHMENT AND RESPITE PROGRAMMES FOR THOSE WITH, OR SUPPORTING THOSE WITH DIGEORGE SYNDROME, TO INCLUDE A RESIDENTIAL RETREAT, WHEN POSSIBLE. 3/ WORKING TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THOSE RESEARCHING PREVENTION, TREATMENT, SUPPORT AND ONGOING RESEARCH INTO DIGEORGE SYNDROME; OFFERING PARTNERSHIP, EXPERTISE AND GRANT FUNDING IF / OR WHEN APPLICABLE AND/OR REQUIRED.
