THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF THE HEDGEHOG SPECIES IN RUTLAND AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY: A) PROVIDING FIRST AID, TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION TO SICK, INJURED OR ORPHANED HEDGEHOGS, WITH THE AIM OF RELEASING SUCH HEDGEHOGS BACK INTO THE WILD WHEREVER POSSIBLE. B) PROVIDING EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF SUPPORTING AND PROMOTING THE HEDGEHOG POPULATION WITHIN THE REMIT OF THEIR DAILY LIVES.
