TO PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS), SPECIFICALLY OF WOMEN AND GIRLS(AS SET OUT IN CONVENTION ON THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN AND SUBSEQUENT UNITED NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS) THROUGHOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: 1. OBTAINING REDRESS FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES; 2. BUILDING BRIDGES BETWEEN FAITH COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORT AGENCIES; 3. RESEARCH INTO HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES, SPECIFICALLY RELATING TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN; 4. CONTRIBUTING TO THE SOUND ADMINISTRATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS LAW THAT IS APPLICABLE TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN; 5. COMMENTING ON PROPOSED HUMAN RIGHTS LEGISLATION RELATING TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN; 6. PROMOTING POPULAR SUPPORT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, PARTICULARLY THAT OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN; 7. PROMOTING RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS BY INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATIONS; 8. INTERNATIONAL ADVOCACY OF HUMAN RIGHTS, PARTICULARLY OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
