Activities - how the charity spends its money
The object of the SDN is to advance education for the public benefit, specifically in relation to nineteenth-century French history and culture. To this end, it organises an annual international conference and supports an international peer-reviewed academic journal, Dix-Neuf. The SDN also runs training workshops and administers several research awards.
