THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TRADITIONS OF THE MAR THOMA SYRIAN CHURCH OF MALABAR IN SOUTHAMPTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, WORSHIP SERVICES, PUBLIC CELEBRATIONS OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS SUCH AS CHRISTMAS AND EASTER, MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, AND RETREATS FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE CIO AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ORDER TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN FAITH BASED ON BIBLICAL TEACHING.
