Charitable objects
THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN UGANDA:- TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:- PAYING SCHOOL FEES, SUPPORTING TEACHERS, IMPROVING SCHOOL SERVICES AND RESOURCES; PROVIDING VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING FOR ADULTS INCLUDING FINANCIAL LITERACY AND SUPPORT IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT; ESTABLISHING PROJECTS THAT ACHIEVE A FAMILY SUSTAINABLE INCOME THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN CHILDREN’S EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING; AND TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND POOR HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF THOSE WITH A PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING SUPPORT WITHIN FAMILIES, PROVIDING ACCESS TO LOCAL HEALTHCARE FACILITIES, SPECIALIST TREATMENT CENTRES AND HEALTH EDUCATION THROUGH COMMUNITY GROUPS. [NOTHING IN THIS DEED SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.].
